Calvin Oram - Partner and mortgage consultant

Calvin is one of the founder partners of the company, along with Andrew Rawlings. He’s worked for a busy national estate agency within the Birmingham area, and also for an independent mortgage company. Calvin now specialises in ‘first time buyer’ mortgages and buy-to-let mortgages. He also looks after new enquiries. Based in Shirley, he’s available to meet clients at our offices, or at their home or place of work.

Calvin lives in Dickens Heath with his partner and has moved house five times in the last five years. He enjoys renovating property and is keen to share his experiences with customers who are considering a renovation project. Poppy and Bonny (the office dogs) also live with Calvin.

Andrew Rawlings - Partner and mortgage consultant

A founding partner of the company, Andrew has a wealth of experience gained from his ten years working as a mortgage consultant. He formed Oak Tree Mortgages along with Calvin from a desire to offer clients ethical and impartial mortgage advice. Andrew now specialises in remortgages and mortgage protection. Based in Shirley, he’s available to meet clients at our offices there, or at their home or place of work.

Andy has lived in Balsall Common for seven years with his wife and two children. He enjoys holidaying in Cornwall and predicting the weather. Prior to training as a mortgage advisor, Andy was a member of the bands ‘The Catherine Spirit’ and ‘December’ as bass guitarist.

Debbie Cutts - Mortgage consultant

Debbie joined the company after the birth of her first child. Debbie has chosen to specialise in the re-mortgage and purchase market. She is available to help clients within the Coventry area and aims to provide a no-nonsense approach to finding the most appropriate mortgage based on your current needs and circumstances. Debbie has eight years experience as a mortgage consultant, having worked in a busy estate agent located on New Union Street, Coventry. She has a loyal following of customers, many of whom she has helped repeatedly. Debbie works from home and offers her customers the convenience of a home or work visit.

Debbie lives in Coventry and is married with one child. She enjoys playing netball and spending time with her friends and family.

Poppy and Bonny - Office dogs

Poppy joined Oak Tree Mortgages in January 2005 as a six month old puppy. She’s a chocolate brown Labrador retriever, and like most of her breed she loves eating. Poppy understands that when it’s time for a walk, it’s her responsibility to drag Calvin around the park. She is very expressive and yawns a lot.

Bonny is a seven year old golden Labrador. She joined us in December 2006 as a rescue dog, having spent the first six years of her life living in a concrete pen. She is believed to have had ten litters of pups.

Both dogs live in Dickens Heath with Calvin. They come to work each day and have their own office, but are happy to spend most of their time sleeping there until Calvin or Andy have finished speaking to customers about their mortgages.
